Watershed Management & Planning
Palliser Environmental works with multi-stakeholder groups to establish a common understanding of watershed resources through State of the Watershed reports. We help to identify and prioritize watershed concerns and develop approaches to reach common goals. Palliser Environmental facilitates the development of integrated watershed management plans that balance natural resource protection with community well-being and economic opportunity.
Common concerns addressed in watershed management plans are water supply, water quality, stormwater management, riparian and wetland protection, biodiversity, and land management.
A staged approach to implementing watershed management plan recommendations is a key element to planning success. Palliser Environmental develops Implementation Strategies in collaboration with team members that identifies specific actions and timelines to achieve goals.
