Palliser Environmental specializes in aquatic and fisheries science and stakeholder engagement. Palliser Environmental can assist with water quality monitoring, fisheries assessments, water and watershed management, implementation of beneficial management practices (BMPs), bioengineering projects, regulatory permitting, compliance monitoring and community education.
Palliser provides services to rural and urban municipalities, watershed groups, industry (agriculture, oil and gas, utilities), engineering consultants, and construction contractors. In 2021, Palliser Environmental is celebrating our 17th year of operation.
WHO WE ARE
Palliser Environmental Services Ltd. was incorporated in 2004 in Mossleigh, Alberta and is managed by its principals Sandi Riemersma and Scott Stoklosar.

Senior Fisheries Biologist
Scott has worked on over 250 fisheries projects across western and northern Canada, Ontario and the United States. He has monitored water crossings during construction as well as conducted post-construction monitoring and assessments. Learn More…
Sandi Riemersma, M.Sc.
Environmental Biologist
Sandi began her career as a water quality specialist. As such, she developed water monitoring programs, researched best management practices (BMPs) to protect water quality, and facilitated BMP implementation.
